Sleeper buses are often used by bands to allow their road crews to get from one city to another. Sometimes a popular band may use the bus or it may just rely on air travel to get around. So many different amenities are available on sleeper buses that it is becoming harder to realize that you are traveling down the freeway and not residing in a beautiful hotel room. Because of the enormous amount of equipment that many performers need to present a show today, the sleeper bus has become an integral part of the mechanics of making the tour across the country possible. Loading up the equipment to be flown from place to place would be very expensive and the equipment would still have to be unloaded and loaded into some other large vehicle to get it to the place where the event is going to be held. An added bonus is that the road crew and technicians get the advantage of enjoying a ride on these buses and they will be available and refreshed to take care of the equipment needed when the sleeper buses arrive at their destination.
